    I've been wearing my black and white old-skools everyday for years now. my dad always wore them, and bought me my first pair when I was pretty young. I kept wearing them because they're perfect.

    They're super comfy, they last ages, and they wear-in really well. They also have really good grip if you're a skater, and as they're not quite as popular as the Eras and the Authentics, they're kinda more original.
    I don't think there's actually any Cons to these shoes, as they never really get dirty, they don't stain, they don't fall apart, and they only really start to wear out after years of day to day wear.

    I wear these shoes to cruze around with my daughter on my old school board with big softies. They've got good padding under the ball of the foot to take a good beating. The heel isn't as well padded and they ache after a long walk. Love the look but the rubber that meets the canvas started separating after about 2 months. The canvas them started to tear at this point. Bummer. I still wear them around cuz they're super comfy even if they do look a little trashy after about 6 months. There's got to be something more durable to spend you're money on. Also, why so many lace holes?

      the first day i wore them, i got some pretty serius blisters on the heel of both my feet, im pretty sure i have the right size and all that, has anyone else had this? other than that really cool shoes, awesome for skateboarding, very grippy!

          I love these classic vans. But this is the 2nd bad pair I received. 1st pair left shoe was lower in back then front. I returned them and this pair has the left tongue sewn in totally crooked. To the right to point where it almost goes under right side of foot. I've already had to return 1 pair and need shoes to wear and do not want to go thru return process without shoes.

          Been an avid Vans customer for a very long time. I haven't bought Old Skools for quite some time now and I decided to get some. When i first put it on, they felt great. But as i started to skate in them more and use them for everyday purposes, the shoe started to really wear down and hurt my feet. The right shoe started to wear down right under my big toe, and soon a hole started to form. Then the shoe started to really hurt the sides of my foot. I dont know whether i purchased a bad pair or thats just how they make them nowadays. I've been thinking about trying them out one more time but a little relucltant.

          The shoes came in 3 weeks ago, and I've been wearing them consistently since then. They look awesome and are super comfortable. With so many pros, it was disappointing that today a hole started developing on the side of my right shoe. I'll continue to live in them though, still look awesome and are super comfortable.
