    I work full time as a manager at a Dairy Queen, and I've started wearing these shoes. I don't slip in spilled items, and they are so comfortable to wear for eight hours at a time without sitting down. They're a little stiff at the moment, but I know that within a few weeks, they'll feel comfortable just like my old ones. The suede on them makes it incredibly easy to clean with water and an old tooth brush, so I'm not worried about them getting dirty from ice cream and such. And when just going out, I find that these shoes match anything. They look great with my shorty shorts, some skinny jeans, even a bikini. They're just perfect, for both males and females! It is best to wear socks that cover your ankle, or you'll have some blisters. Just a heads up until they're broken in to all of you who are looking to purchase these beauties! (: The black on black ones come with white laces, and I'm thinking about getting new ones because those get really dirty, really quickly.

    excellent shoes in many respects. they seem to have held up well so far, except for the fact that the sole on one heel is slanted to the side, causing my heel to press against the inner sidewall when i walk. this has resulted in unevenly shaped shoes. this problem has not affected my feet or how well i walk or skate, but it does affect how the shoes look. I'm a bit disappointed that Vans didn't notice the flaw.

        I brought 2 pairs of the blue Sk8-Hi online because all the stores said they were discontinued and only a small selection was left at the outlet stores. Maybe should have brought more or maybe they should be re-issued again.
