    My son is autistic and has a tremendously hard time with shoes. He can feel every stich inside of a sneaker and it is painful for him. A friend recommended Vans because there are not many seems/stiches inside the sneaker. When we got them my son was VERY excited because he could finally wear sneakers that didn't hurt. However the sneakers are EXTREMELY tight and hard to get on/off. Even though I followed the sizing on the web site the sneakers are very tight and barely fit, it won't be long before he will need a bigger size. The problem with that is there are no stores nearby that sell these types of sneakers in my son's size. I am thankful I have finally found a sneaker that doesn't hurt my son's feet but disappointed that it is so hard to find them for him.

    Vans slip-ons are the only shoe I wear. I own over 10 pairs. One of my previous orders from this year was a pair of Custom slip-ons. They were made so tight that I can't even get them on my foot. I always order size 9 slip-ons without a problem so I didn't save the box or the packing info when they were delivered. A week later I tried on the size 9 customs and they they were WAY too tight. I called Vans and was told without the box or packing info there was nothing they could do to help me. In most cases I enjoy shopping at Vans.com and I enjoy the slip-on but this time I am stuck with slip-ons that I cant even wear! Not Happy!
