        I'm a die hard Metallica fan but someone who also enjoys subtle details. These shoes are perfect. To the untrained eye they appear as a regular pair of Vans. But other die hard fans are quickly turned green with envy when you put your soles together and show them the awesomeness you're walking around in. I'm going to buy another pair so that I can wear them when I'm 50+. People will say "oh my god where can I buy a pair of those shoes!" To which I will respond, "you can't sucker these are retro!"

        Though its style, it is not a good shoe for skate. The cloth is not resistant and the back of the shoe ends in a hole even if it uses just for walk, and i don't find this is correct assuming the price I paid. If it wasn't for this it would be one of my favourite Vans. I had Vans that looked awesome that were more resistant for less money. My old vans more used than this for 2 years wearing them everyday look just a little more desgasted than the Metallica Vans that i have used since 4 months giving them the same use.

              I used Half cabs since they came out 20 years ago, I do not skate anymore just teach my kids, but I remember were pretty durable and these ones specially looks similar to the first ones "all blacks". Also if you're metallica fan like me you will love them.
