Anthony Van Engelen came correct with his first pro-model shoe on Vans. The AV Era 1.5 is an improved version of the original, with thinner padding and a new outsole. The shoe features BoardFeel XD technology, which takes cupsole construction to the next level, replicating the grip and feel of vulcanized, but with better support and cushioning.

I started skating vans just a couple years ago trying out all the different models, got to the era's and dont think ill be switching. They're easy to break in and very comfortable, all the colors are awesome as well. only downside is them starting to rip and fall apart after so much but what skate shoe doesnt? Just means i get to buy me a new pair! keep on keepin on vans!! At school me and my friends hop fences and they are pretty good for that and they are the most comfortable out there its unbeleivable i'm gonna get anothe pair

Best Uses Comments about Anthony Van Engelen AV Era 1.5, Men: Love everything about the shoe, other than the fit. I usually buy shoes a half size too small and break them in to the shape of my foot, but I bought these at my true size and they're still painfully tight.

Comments about Anthony Van Engelen AV Era 1.5, Men: The last two pairs of VANS I bought fell apart at the heel. This is the last pair I plan on buying, unless they astound me. If these come apart, begin to leak, etc, I will find a new brand.
