I got these for my 18-month old and so far have been great. My husband was worried that he would trip over the toe, but so far hasn't had any problems. We ordered a 1/2 size down because I heard that Vans run big and they fit him great.
My son loves these shoes he calls them his fire trucks lol

I bought the pink/pink check version of these shoes for our 3 year-old daughter (to keep my 30 year Vans obsession alive - she's had a few already , including her first shoes ... pink slip-ons !) My only real complaint with these shoes is that the pink/pink color combination looks NOTHING like the website photo shows . The checkers are nearly non-existent ! It all looks totally pink unless you hold them a few inches from your face ... seriously . I was pretty disappointed when they arrived . My daughter loves them because they're new pink shoes , but then again she's 3 ... and a girl , lol . Good shoes , bad pic of the color combo .
MY SON LOVES THESE SHOES, VERY STYLISH. BUT HE IS ONLY 2 SO THEY GET DIRTY EASILY AND HARD TO CLEAN. HE WORE THEM 1 DAY AROUND THE BACK YARD CEMENT AND THEY WERE SCUFFED UP. I LOVE THEM AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM
