I bought the size my grandson wears now but they were to tight around the heal, he complained of pain, so bought 2 sizes larger, went from an 8 to a 10 and he can wear them with socks. They run a little narrow so buy 1 or 2 sizes up to fit a wider foot and just add a pair of socks to keep them on. These shoes are special, worn by a grandpa that is gone now, shoes from heaven...freeship is great!!
