      Comments about Fortnight Backpack:

I used this product everyday until I moved out of the city of Atlanta due to a change in my "employment situation."

Bottom line is that this bag is freekin awesome!!

I purchased a custom built skateboard at the same d_mn time in Q4 of 2011 (in total...spent over $400 at a local skate shop in the Little Five Points shopping district), and began to ride to work almost immediately.

I ended up using a laptop padding insert from the Timbuk2 company (purchased in 2004) to protect the bottom edges of my two (2) mac book pros...but I wiped out one day and still slightly warped a back corner or BOTH laptops. :(

Thankfully, I (and my equipment) was able to walk away from that and once I got my board legs back...falling was the last of my concerns. I hadn't been on a skateboard since I was in high school in the late 90's.

Thanks for the great product, folks! Keep up the good work. Off The Wall for LIFE!

        Comments about Fortnight Backpack:

I needed a large capacity backpack to carry my 17.3" laptop, art supplies and books. It's big enough to pack for a few days away, as the name suggests. The bag is comfortable even when it's full, and I have gotten many compliments on how stylish it is.

I love the roll-top design because it makes it accessible, and the storage capacity is versatile. The large compartment is big enough for a shoe box of art supplies, along with books. I really liked the padded laptop compartment, but it was too small for my laptop! 17" should fit, but mine was just about a centimeter too big. my laptop still fits in the large compartment, and the padded pocket works for notebooks.

The only complaint I have is while there are plenty of small pockets, there are no medium-sized pockets. That's such I small issue that I hardly notice. I would definitively recommend this bag to anyone who needs to carry more than a regular backpack.

        Comments about Fortnight Backpack:

Nice looking backpack, the rolltop makes it easy to load things. I use this to commute to work- holds my change of clothes and winter gear. Also I go shopping with this. I can fit a 12 pack in here. It's that huge! The padded back is comfy and the sternum strap keeps the bag in place when mashing up hills. The laptop sleeve (huge) is where I keep my u-lock and bike tools. There's also 3 other quick access pockets.

        The cons are:

        1) even when rolled tight and strapped down snug, the roll top slightly obscures your rear view. I wish the bag sat just a little lower or that my neck was a little longer. I have to crane my neck out more to check for cars.

        2) messenger bags were designed for quick access to main storage. This isn't designed that way, once you roll it up tight it's slow to open up again.

        3) mesh pocket makes it look cheap. I cut it off.

If you can live without having super quick access to large items in your main compartment, you'll be happy with this bag.

          Comments about Fortnight Backpack:

I love this bag. I mostly wear over the shoulder bags, which make me feel like I'm having a heart attack. This bag is like a breath of fresh air. So much space. So many compartments. It make me want to pack things in it just to fill everything up. I'm loving the crew as they say (too soon)? <3
