Comments about Type II, Men: had great grip but the bottoms of the soles wore out after about 7 hours of trick and agressive skating....suede was very abrasion resistant though.good cushioning,good board feel

Comments about Type II, Men: Vans were originally made in Vista, California and I wish they still were. Too much manufacturing has moved to China leaving workers here in So. Cal without jobs.

Comments about Type II, Men: Been wearing these constantly for approx. a week now - just casual wear - and they are excellent. These shoes require no breaking in at all and will wear comfortably right from the box.

I didn't like the laces (the material) so I changed them but those are really great shoes (my favorite ones)... good grip, confortable, good value for money.
