These shoes are my 'wearing shoes'. I wear them all the time everywhere I go. They have a more laid back style than some other Vans, and are simple in their design.
I initially bought these shows to avoid the typical issues one has with shoes in wet winter weather, and they perform well. I'm simply careful not to step in deep snow in that regard.
The only issue I've had with size is that the inside backing of the shoes rubbed my heels raw. However, this usually stops after a few weeks of being broken in and I used some extra padding behind my heel to stop it from getting too bad.
Overall, great shoes.

I am a big fan of Vans and I have several pares in my closet. This is by far the most expansive pair of Vans I have ever purchased, and I was looking forward to the style, conformability, and quality that I have come to expect from the brand. When I got the shoes I immediately put them on and was pleased with the overall look and feel. However the sole of the shoe was a little uncomfortable. When I took the shoe off to look at it the insole it looked like two pieces had been glued together and they were already falling apart (before I could even walk out the door wearing the shoes…). Then when I took the insole out imaging my surprise to see the stitching for the inseam not only done with shoddy quality but the end of the thread was simply taped down to the bottom of the shoe (this is what was creating the uncomfortable bulge that I was feeling… ) I have been a fan of Vans for over ten years and I would like to continue to support the brand but if this is any indication of the quality of product you are not putting out I feel that I will have to take my business elsewhere.
Doesn't look as good as the pic but they're still pretty nice. They go with a lot of clothing, best for jeans. They hurt the side of my right foot, I might have wide feet but it's weird because I thought they were a little loose in the beginning. Overall you get used to them and they're good casual shoes that you can where pretty much wherever.

I like how Vans has a more "grown up" line, and the OTW line is perfect. These shoes are stylish and comfy. Also I have narrow feet and smaller sized and love how Vans accomodates people with those isues.
