The Pacquard is inspired by the Chukka Low silhouette but functionally different in construction. The Pacquard's Engineered Cupsole is designed for boardfeel as the footbed is nice and low beneath the toes, but without compromising that increased durability and upper support for which cupsole shoes are known. Additionally, the foot is secured, being held firmly within the Pacquard's molded heel pocket. Upgraded trim and materials make this as good looking a shoe as it is functional for skateboarding. Please note: the Pale Khaki/White images shows leather laces; however, this shoe actually comes with cloth laces.

Comments about Pacquard, Men: These shoes seems to have more emphasis placed on the build quality (perhaps reflected in the higher price tag). The new foot bed really secures the heel in place and the insole provides a lot better support than most other Vans I have worn. Overall, for me, these shoes provide a comfortable and more snug fit than the Chukka Low of the same shoe size.
