I'm about 5'6" and very slim; I loved the original Indigo V76s because they weren't skin tight skinny but fit me and made me pull them off like someone who was taller and could pull of regular slim straight jean. Now I bought the vintage indigo v76 thinking the only difference would be the color but the material is a little different and didn't really shrink like my others which was a good thing for me cause I'm short. So for me they ran a bit larger, longer and baggier from the thighs.

The jeans would be a lot cuter if they fit as shown in the photo. I purchased mine in black and the legs are quite wide. They fit more like a boot cut than a skinny jean, and do not have the tapered ankle as in the photo. It's a shame because they are very comfortable otherwise, and the detailing is better than i expected for inexpensive jeans. Unfortunately they're just too baggy to look good with most of the stuff I wear.
These are great jeans in every sense - quality material, good design, nice stitching/craftmanship, etc.
However, I am a 61 year old young at heart retiree and at my age wearing skinny jeans is a little hard to pull off. I manage to though because I have a very slim physique (5"9" & 155 lbs) and these jeans are not skin tight on me - there's a little give in all areas - snug yet comfortable. I've drawn compliments already the few times I've worn them so I don't feel as self conscience as I did the first time I went out in public with them on.
What I'd like to see Van's do is reintroduce the Slimbo line. Those were some killer jeans and a great fit for someone like me - not too tight, not too loose - just a perfect fit in every facet. I have a couple of pair in my closet and now save them for special occasions since I can no longer find them in stores or on the web. They seem to be a very sought out style of jeans though because everywhere I've asked about them sales clerks know exactly what I'm talking about and tell me customers are constantly asking for them.
For the time being, I guess I'll make do with the Van's Skinny V76 style which is fine, but sure wish you'd bring those Slimbos back into circulation.

I can't personally speak to the fit of these jeans but they must be pretty special as these are the only jeans my son wears on stage with his band. He is currently living in Seoul and he has me buy these and send them to him. He is 6'3" and I'm his mother so of course I think he looks good in anything but Vans are his favorites.
