I orginally thought that it would be a brighter shade of red as it was supposed to be a "washed" color. I should have gone with the blue. The laces are terrible and dont stay tied. The shoes are very stiff and not comfortable even after breaking them in. I love vans shoes but am extreamly unhappy with my purchase.
