Stoked this is back! Vans should consider making it a permanent pro model and keep it in the line up like they've done with the Half Cab.

Let me start off by saying that these were my all time favorite shoes when they were originally released. I probably had 10 pairs and they always fit perfectly. Needless to say I was really bummed when they discontinued them. But I was more than stoked when I found out they brought them back and ordered a pair immediately.. only to be very disappointed.
I have been wearing vans size 12 for years and they always fit like gloves. When I tried these on in 12 they were literally falling off my feet. I went to my local vans store to exchange them for 11.5 and even THESE were slipping off the back! Very frustrated, I tried on 11's and of course they were just too tight. So I thought I'd just suck it up and get the 11.5 but they are just not doing it for me. They just don't fit "right" and are still slipping off in the back. Sadly, I'm going to have to return them again.
I love Rowley's and have been wearing them since they first came out. Compared to the last model, these wear more like what I am used to and was expecting in the size profile. There is no elastic on the tongue in this model, which was a surprise. I'm not sure what it is Vans changed about the rubber in the sole, but these are wearing down faster than older models. These are my favorite shoe and compared to last season's Rowley's these have a more classic feel that I missed. These would rate a 5 if they still had the elastic. Still the best.

Comments about Geoff Rowley Pro, Men:
Vans used to produce some good-looking and fairly substantial shoes. But over the last few years it seems that cost-cutting in manufacture is the main concern. The shoes are cut smaller, have cheaper soles, and generally have become low-quality at the same old price. I guess I'll be switching to some other brand in future.

I love these so much I ordered all four colors. I was so happy to see these return. I can't think of anything bad about them. They look great and feel great. Great price too. With other Vans I had to go up a half size, but these fit right at my usual size.
