The Zapato del Barco is a vintage old style boat/deck shoe made from all canvas and given a rough edge for a worn look. The metal eyelets allow for the laces to slide easily around the shoe which makes it easy to make adjustments. Padded insole for comfort and vulcanized sole.

So I got the Zapato Del Barco in Baton Rouge the summer of 2010 and I loved them. I wore them all the time. So when I got my hair dyed some of the dye got on the shoes and bleached a little part on them and I was really upset. But that's what makes them unique. I don't wear them that often in the winter though, because snow gets in the little holes on the sides. But if they weren't made the way there were then I never would have gotten them in the summer. I knew then that I probably wouldn't wear them in the winter. I'm very pleased(:

I use these shoes as slips on. i don't tie them, slip my foot in and out and they dont come off during my normal activity of walking around or doing some light jog with kids. the color i got were the grays and they look good with a fairly large amount of my wardrobe. i like them they are the first Vans that i have ever purchased and i am looking forward to buying another pair of Vans.
The shoe fits very well. It is true to size. Even though I have a broad foot it still fit very well even though people say that Vans fit tighter than other shoes. Very pleased just thought that the shoe too long to process to be shipped. Otherwise, Excellent!
