The light sky-blue color was what really made me want them. I was dissapointed to find that the advertised color was really a darker teal blue-green. Plus, in the advertised photo, there were four rows of eyelets on the shoe, but when I received my sneakers, there were five eyelets instead. I really wish that the products sold here would be marketed more truthfully. Despite the coloration dissapointments, this shoe is of pretty decent quality and very, very comfortable. I would reccomend this product to a friend, but before purchasing you may want to see your desired style of Vans in person to be sure you aren't being deceited. Comments about Canvas Authentic: I bought 10 pairs for the Dads and all of the groomsmen for my wedding. They fit great. The wedding is in a few days. I can't wait to see the Vans on all of the guys.

Comments about Canvas Authentic: Soooo comfortable it's like walking on pillows!!! One problem though...When you first get them they do squeak a little bit. For, me after a while though it went away though.all in all... it's a great shoe!

Comments about Canvas Authentic: OK, so i wrote a review about these right after i bought them. Don't get me wrong, they're very good looking. BUT, after two weeks of being on my feet all day at a band camp, i was wishing I had my athletic shoes. These simply do not cushion well. People who say they are comfortable must not have others shoes that are very good. I had to by a heel insert to help. I know that there are other Vans that have better cushioning (these were actually my first pair) such as the bali slip-ons. also if the insole wasn't glued in, i'd be happier. I'm looking forward to my next pair.
